Sarah Hughes aka Shiftypop is an independent singer-songwriter and ukulele player who grew up in Bridgnorth but now lives in South Wales.

Newport City Radio (Wales) describes her music as heartfelt storytelling with upbeat ukulele-driven Melodies, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with a wide audience.

 Shiftypop performed at Bridgnorth Music Festival 2008-2011 and is excited to return this year with her ukulele and some new original material.

Shiftypop is a top-rated singer, songwriter and musician on fiverr and spends a lot of time building her community on Tiktok Live @shiftypop.

 In recognition of her contributions to the music industry Shiftypop was nominated for Best Industry Newcomer 2024 and won Best Variety Act 2025 (Music Recognition Awards). She was also recently nominated as Best Pop Act 2025 (Love Live Music Awards).
