KOPPELLI

QUAYSIDE STAGE - MONDAY 30 AUGUST - 2pm

Koppelli we're formed in 2019, when Nathan Edwards and Sheena Wieckowicz, met at an open mic.

They play only original songs,  described as having a "Very dynamic, charming London sound" largely due to Nathan's strong southern accent.  Their songs are a mix of quirky, humorous and romantic. 

Sheena was a professional musician for many years, living in London.  She was singer and percussionist, with NYJO for 3 years. Went on tour with pop singers Gabrielle and Lisa Stansfield as backing vocalist, before branching out as a full-time jazz singer/ musician. 

She released three albums on the 'Jazzizit' label, as the Sheena Davis Group and performed all over the UK and Europe.  

Sheena is also an accomplished Handpan musician.

 Nathan started writing his own songs from a young age, performing all over the south, at folk clubs and festivals as a solo musician. 

Koppelli have performed at the Rochester Sweeps, How The Light Gets In festivals,  Bromyard and Brimfield folk clubs.
