The Bell & Talbot joins Bridgnorth Music & Arts Festival as latest local business partner

The Bridgnorth Music & Arts Festival is delighted to announce that The Bell & Talbot has joined the festival as its latest local business partner, strengthening the growing network of independent businesses supporting this year’s grassroots celebration of music and the arts.
The festival, which takes place across Bridgnorth over the August Bank Holiday weekend, Thursday 27 to Monday 31 August 2026, is entirely volunteer-run and relies on the support of local businesses, venues, artists and the wider community to make it happen.
The Bell & Talbot has recently been taken on by new landlords, Pete Greenwood, who are already making live music an important part of the pub’s programme. Throughout the festival weekend, the venue will host a full programme of live music and events, adding another hub of activity to the festival’s town-wide celebrations.
They join existing festival partners including Travel Wallet, Bassa Villa and the White Lion, alongside ShireFolk, the local not-for-profit organisation that organises and delivers the festival.
With events taking place in venues and spaces across Bridgnorth, the festival is a true celebration of the town’s grassroots cultural scene. Rather than being centred around a single venue, the festival brings together pubs, businesses, community spaces, artists, musicians and volunteers to create a weekend that the whole town can get behind.
Festival organiser Westley Bone of ShireFolk said:

This is a festival created by the community, for the community, and the support of local businesses allows us to bring more music and arts activity to Bridgnorth while supporting the artists, venues and businesses that make our town such a vibrant place to live and visit.”
The partnership with The Bell & Talbot also highlights the important role that Bridgnorth’s independent pubs and businesses play in the town’s live music scene. Alongside The Bell & Talbot, the White Lion will once again be hosting live music and events throughout the festival weekend, while Bassa Villa will hold its popular Big Bank Holiday Bash on Sunday 30 August.
The festival will officially get underway on Thursday 27 August with its popular Campfire Jam at the Central Court, where musicians of all abilities are invited to bring their instruments, join in and play together.

The Bridgnorth Music & Arts Festival is free to attend and is run entirely by volunteers, with the support of local businesses and the wider Bridgnorth community.
